Fabrício Oliveira
International Executive Officers
INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT
Fabrício Oliveira of Catolé do Rocha, Paraiba, Brazil, was elected to serve as International President of
Lions Clubs International at our association’s 106th International Convention, from June 21 through June
25, 2024, in Melbourne, Australia.
International President Fabrício is a businessman, with a post-graduate degree in business management
(MBA) from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), and a degree in business administration.
A member of the Catolé do Rocha Lions Club since 1985, International President Fabrício has held
several offices in the association, among them, club president, zone chairperson, region chairperson,
district governor, Multiple District LA first council of governors chairperson, and international director.
He also has served as multiple district leadership development chairperson, having coordinated the district
governors-elect seminar, multiple district SightFirst committee chair, and chair of the district Lions
Foundation.
International President Fabrício also served twice as District Governors-Elect Seminar group
leader.
In recognition of his service to the association he has received several awards, including the 100% Club
President Award, the District Governor Excellence Medal, District Governor's Extension Award for
chartering nine Lions clubs, the District Governor's Membership Growth Award (net 312), Service
Award, seven Council Chairperson's Appreciation Medals, 19 International Presidents’ Certificates of
Appreciation, the Augustin Soliva Medal, the Paradigm Medal, nine Leadership Medals, 16 Presidential
Medals, International Director Recognition Medal and the Ambassador of Good Will Award, the highest
honor awarded by the association to its members.
President Fabrício has also received a Key Award for sponsoring 30 new members, an Extension
Certificate for sponsoring five new Leo clubs, the Global Vision Medal for his efforts in Campaign
SightFirst and the Helping Hands Award given by Lions Clubs International Foundation. He has also
been recognized as a Lions International Second Century Ambassador, as well as being a Multilevel
Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.
In addition to his Lion achievements, International President Fabrício participates in numerous
professional and community organizations, having served as the secretary of industry and commerce of
the state of Paraiba and an administration council chairperson of several companies.
President Fabrício
served as director of the National Confederation of Shopkeepers (CNDL), chairperson of the Federation
of Chambers of Shopkeepers of the State of Paraíba (FCDL-PB), chairperson of Catolé do Rocha
Chamber of Shopkeepers (CDL).
International President Fabrício and his wife, Amariles, also a member of the Catolé do Rocha Lions Club
and a Melvin Jones Fellow, have two daughters, a son, and a granddaughter
