DATO’ YEOW WAH CHIN
INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR
Dato’ Yeow Wah Chin from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was elected to serve a two-year term as an
international director of Lions International at the association’s 106th International Convention in
Melbourne, Australia, June 21 through June 25, 2024.
Director Chin has 30 years of experience as an advocate and solicitor. He is currently a managing
partner of the Messrs. Yeow & Salleh law firm.
Director Chin is a member of the Lions Club of Kuala Lumpur Central, where he’s been serving
since 1994.
He has held several offices within the association, including club president, district governor,
council chairperson and Global Leadership Team area leader. He is also a qualified LCIP instructor.
In recognition of his service to the association, Director Chin has received numerous awards,
including multiple International President’s Awards, a Top President Award and the Ambassador
of Good Will Award. He is also a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.
In addition to his Lion activities, Director Chin has served as chairman of the Lions Education
Foundation as well as a board member of the National University of Malaysia.
Director Chin and his wife, Genevieve, have three children.
